General Rules of Play <\/strong><\/h2>
  • All fixtures should commence at 9.30pm.<\/li>
  • Home teams are asked to open match boards by 9.15pm for away team to practice.<\/li>
  • First doubles are best of 3 games of 501.<\/li>
  • Followed by six games (best of 3) of 501.<\/li>
  • Final doubles are best of 3 games of 501.<\/li>
  • Home Teams have darts in first game.<\/li>
  • Any games played in neutral venue’s the first throw will be decided by coin toss.<\/li>
  • Away teams are obliged to arrive at the home team venue by 9.15pm, any delays should be communicated to the home team captain as soon as possible.<\/li>
  • Any fixture cancellations must be reported to the Committee immediately with a proposed reschedule date.<\/li>
  • It is the responsibility of the cancelling team Captain to agree a reschedule date for the fixture with the other team Captain and propose this date to the Committee for approval.<\/li>
  • All rescheduled fixtures must be played within 2 weeks. Under special circumstances, fixtures may be extended subject to Committee approval.<\/li>
  • Teams who fail to arrive for scheduled fixtures without prior notification to the opponent team Captain can be expelled from the league.<\/li>
  • Each team may consist of up to ten registered players; playing an unregistered player is strictly forbidden.<\/li>
  • Any team identified as playing an unregistered player can be expelled from the league.<\/li>
  • Home team has advantage of throwing first in each league match.<\/li>
  • During play, non-throwing players should always remain behind the oche, except for the checker and marker.<\/li>
  • Team members are encouraged to be supportive for their players but should be respectful of players at the oche and minimise noise while players are throwing.<\/li>
  • Checkers and Markers should avoid distracting players at the oche by movement or talking to other players\/spectators.<\/li>
  • Results from fixtures should be sent to the Committee by photo on a league score sheet no later than midday on the day following the fixture.<\/li>
  • Text should include overall match score, 180s, 15 dart legs (or better) and 100+ Checkouts.<\/li>
  • It is the responsibility of each team Captain to submit statistics for their own team. Statistics which are not submitted within the deadline above may not be included for that team.<\/li>
  • It is the responsibility of each team Captain to monitor the conduct of their team and report any issues with opposing teams to the Committee as soon as possible.<\/li>
  • The Committee will investigate all reported issues with relevant team Captains as soon as possible and take appropriate action as necessary.<\/li>
